PLAYING HIS CARDS RIGHT
Kidderminster Shuttle/Times & News Thursday October 2nd 2006
A 15 year Old Bewdley High School pupil impressed bosses of a Kidderminster business with his
imaginative skills during a work experience spell at the company. Lewis Mills, who spent two weeks with Progressive Print Ltd (PPS) was set a challenge to design six distinctive Christmas cards, a task he passed with flying colours. He was assisted in his assignment by Russell Hall, PPS Studio Manager, who stressed that the designs were 'all down to Lewis'. The pupil is following up the exercise by taking his range of designs back to school for Head of Art and Design Beccy Newbould to select one that PPS
Ltd will print in numbers, free of charge, for the school to use. The company became involved
in the Work experience link up said Mr Hall 'because it's all about putting something back into the
community' PPS prides itself on it's involvement with local educational projects.
